How to disable app tracking in newly installed applications


A pop-up message will appear when you download and launch a new app, asking whether you wish to allow the app to follow your activities on other websites and applications. Information regarding what the app will monitor will also be shown to you. To either allow or prohibit that activity, tap Ask App Not to Track.

By selecting Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking and turning off Allow Apps to Request to Track, you may also choose not to have any app track you download. This implies that any app that attempts to obtain your consent will be instantly stopped and notified that you have chosen not to be tracked. According to Apple, all applications will be prevented from accessing your device’s data used for advertising, with the exception of those you’ve already granted permission to monitor.

How to disable app tracking in applications that have previously been downloaded
