Instagram-Style Comments Can Now Be Added to Your Shared Photo Albums with This iPhone Feature

Seeing how friends and family respond to your memories is the finest part of sharing pictures with them. Indeed, you can always share your photos on Facebook, Instagram, or another social media platform to gain comments, but occasionally you might not want everyone to see that specific photo of your cat or your food.

Looking through a real photo book in person is not the same as sharing pictures online. However, by enabling the creation of shared photo albums, photo-sharing applications have tried to replicate that experience digitally. This feature is included directly into Apple’s primary Photos app on the iPhone.

It goes beyond simply looking at each other’s pictures; you should probably leave a comment as well. A couple fast taps will do the trick.

How to leave a comment on an iPhone’s shared photo albums

On your iPhone, launch the Photos app. This will bring up the camera roll on your iPhone.
Between the For You and Search options at the bottom of the screen, tap the Albums tab.
To access Shared Albums, scroll down. Both shared albums you’ve made and albums that have been shared with you can be found here.
To leave a remark on a photo, tap on it.
Select the “Add comment” option. Tap the button that shows the number of “likes” or comments the photo currently has if you don’t see this option. After clicking that button, a comment area ought to show up.
After writing your comment, click the “Send” button.
It’s as simple as that. For additional guidance, see our compilation of iPhone tips & tricks. Check out all the information regarding iOS 15.5, including how to unlock your iPhone’s hidden trackpad to make typing much easier.
