Although Apple’s WWDC event is over, the excitement around iOS 26 is just beginning. Apple released the first developer beta of iOS 26 shortly after the major unveiling, allowing early adopters and developers to test out the next iPhone software update. iOS 26 is positioned to be one of the most important releases in recent years due to its striking new look and more emphasis on AI-powered capabilities.
The largest new feature is Liquid Glass, which has a translucent, lens-like appearance and is Apple’s new, unified design language for all of its products. FaceTime and Messages have Live Translation built in to facilitate multilingual communication. An improvement on Live Voicemail, Call Screening answers unfamiliar calls for you, asks why the call is coming from you, and displays a live transcript so you may choose whether to answer or let it go to voicemail. Hold Assist, its companion, pings you when a real person answers the phone and plays the hold music for you. There are many more.
By going directly from iOS 18 to iOS 26, Apple is indicating a generational shift and aligning the names of its mobile operating systems with those of its other platforms, as opposed to the customary yearly update. With improvements and changes to almost every aspect of the iPhone, it’s the largest OS upgrade since iOS 7.
You have the option to test out any of these features at this time. This is the method for downloading iOS 26.
You’re not alone if your Roku keeps stopping or buffering as your program starts to get interesting, and fortunately, there’s a simple solution. If your streaming device is experiencing slow menus, frequent restarts, or latency that makes navigating a hassle, a few easy adjustments may speed it up again in a matter of minutes.
Even the most obstinate Roku devices may be revived with a few simple tweaks, such as emptying the cache or changing the network configuration. When I tried them myself, I noticed shorter load speeds and smoother streaming right away. Even if your Roku seems to be dying, don’t give up just yet. You may not even need a replacement if you try this first.
In my experience, things moved quickly after that concealed clutter was removed. It restored my Roku’s original feel and freed up RAM. Before investing in a replacement, try this if yours is behaving slow.

How to empty the cache on your Roku TV
On a Roku TV, this procedure is more complicated than it is on other devices. By doing these actions, you may clear the cache on your smartphone and enhance its speed. You should be aware that your Roku TV will reboot.
Reset the Roku TV’s settings.
Navigate to the Settings menu at the bottom of the list from the main menu.
Locate and open System under Settings.
Choose Power by scrolling down to it.
To confirm, choose System Restart and click Restart.
This won’t factory reset your TV, but it will shut it off and remove the cache. It should take about 30 seconds for your Roku TV to restart. If this doesn’t work, you may try resetting the TV using the hidden remote feature.
Make sure the spotlight is over the Home option on the left when you go to the Home menu.
Press the Home button on your remote five times.
Once, press the Up arrow.
Double-click the Rewind button.
Double-press the Fast Forward button.
Await the restart of your Roku device.
Remove the application.
Roku CNET
You may need to remove and reinstall the app you think is the source of the slowdown if restarting the Roku TV doesn’t fix the problem. Please be aware that when you reinstall the program, all users and settings will be deleted, and you will need to restore them.
Choose Settings from the menu.
Locate and choose System.
Select Advanced System Settings from the System menu’s bottom.
To finalize the reset, choose Factory Reset and input the code located under the right number pad.
Don’t launch the app; just highlight it.
Press the * button on the remote control.
From the popup, choose Remove Channel.
How to restore your Roku TV to factory settings
You could be better off doing a factory reset on the whole Roku TV if you’re still experiencing problems. All of your users, sign-ins, and applications will be deleted, leaving it identical to what you would have taken home from the store.
